The numbers still haven't come in? Does anyone actaully believe that? I think that the numbers are lower then arum said.
I tend to believe the PPV numbers for the Mosley and Marquez fights were rigged. And I also have a hard time believing there are over 1 million idiots who would buy Pac/Margarito. 400k more than Clottey? I doubt the same casual fans/people who bought the horrible Clottey fight would rush to buy Margarito. And I doubt actual fans/people would pay to watch the disgrace, nothing of a boxer that is Margarito.
Clottey has no fan base but Margarito is Mexican and that brings the extro 400k would be my guess. Same reason Floyd booked May 5 hoping to land a Mexican opponent.
Margo headlined a ppv in texas that did 19,000 buys. And that was in the time that arum was calling him the most avoided man in boxing. Arum just throws numbers out there, now its coming into question. And all he got is the numbers hasn't come in yet.
Wait... So Pac is only getting $5 million from PPV sales at 1.3 million buys (or whatever they're saying it is now) for Pac-JMM III? So he got 5 million more above his guarantee total? Is that what I'm reading right? :blood
These *******s dont understand when you get huge upfront money you dont get much on the back end. Its investment 101 Bob and Floyd understand this but Manny doesn't I guess.
Pac making about 30mil against Marquez is exactly what I estimated in the other thread. 50/50 split he can make 50-60mil in that fight against Floyd.
Can't wait for all the money break down experts to come explain this to us. Dude's getting less than $4 per PPV? Maybe this is time to bring out the real PPV numbers so his earning per PPV go up. :rofl:rofl:rofl
His guarantee is already ****in high, that's why. He's making 30 mil on 1.4 mil PPVs that's pretty good right there. Consider Marquez is not some chump and probably got 10mil himself.
