What do you mean about a this mythical image about Frampton? Do mean all the hype from McGuigan or is about your observations? Booth is done, people getting carried away with Quiggs performance that night
To be honest, I simply cannot believe that people still take Joe Gallagher seriously after he let Murray take a career ending hiding from Rios, when anyone with a boxing brain could see that John had nothing left to give after 6 rounds.
I thought it screamed 'duck' when i saw the interview, they're at similar levels and they should meet, i can only echo the earlier points, if Quigg was a world champ then his thoughts would have some credibility. He should have said nothing, it makes Quigg look scared and he probably isn't.
if quigg wants to b the best domestically his got to fight monroe he is regarded the number 1 in britain and thats wat quigg wants to b thats why frampton ay in the picture yet. he only had 11 fights to quiggs 20+.
If you asked me yesterday who i'd thought would win i would have picked Quigg, watching Joe make all sorts of stupid excuses makes me ask if he knows something we don't.
Booth is world class? Seriously Joe get a grip of yourself, Booth is way past his prime as the Martinez fight showed and isn't even a fully fledged super bantam.
hmmmmmmm possibly but i dont think Frampton is as accomplished as Mitchell yet and i think Quigg is quite a bit better than Murray. Genuine 50-50 fight, i did favour Quigg but seeing as his trainer is not that confident in him im not so sure.
I don't think Frampton is being ducked. I think Gallagher felt on the spot and - being Joe Gallagher - responded dismissively. Both fighters and their respective camps will claim that the other lot aren't quite as good, but if they both look impressive in their next few fights then there'll be more of a demand for the fight amongst boxing fans. It's all about whetting the appetite. Just because someone's trainer, manager or promoter says in an interview that they're "above" a certain fighter, doesn't actually mean he's being ducked. Until the demand for the fight is there and an offer is tabled, there's no ducking whatsoever.
People acting like Quigg would walk straight at Frampton :-( Some really dreadful posts, Quigg whilst being agressive comes in from angles and has good footwork. War Quinn.
Yeah, I meant to quote Spearmint Rhino's post there.... I didn't know that about the Ringside picks tbh, but I don't watch Ringside on account of Johnny Nelson being a ****.
