    Chagaev is showing a bit of his old magic tonight, landing that left hook at will. Hopefully he manages to get himself active after this fight and loses some weight, could still be involved in some big fights.

(or, you know, shuffle backwards just fast enough to elude the deliberate plodding of your assailant) Chagaev is perhaps a bit punched out after a strong display of ass-kicking in the opening minute. He is falling in with his lefts now, and allowing Manswell to grab him. "Box his ass!" cries the American corner. Chagaev comes in clubbing wildly with both hands, and manages to chop Manswell down to his knees as the big man tries to grab around the waist. Ruled not to be a KD. Manswell skips away from Chagaev and is caught by a BIG RIGHT HOOK AS CHAGAEV LEAPS FORWAR!! Manswell down hard!! NOW THAT IS A KNOCKDOWN!!! Manswell beats the count!! Chagaev lands ANOTHER BIG RIGHT HOOK!! Chagaev is going for the kill!!! BIG LEFT HAND!! ANOTHER!!

    MANSWELL MADE IT!!!

    I totally overestimated Manswell's skill level. The guy can't hold his own with a world level fighter. As for Chagaev, he looks and fights like a sumo wrestler. Slow, ponderous, wide with his punches.

    It was a negative performance from Kertson, it has to be said.

    It's still disappointing that Chagaev didn't get the stoppage when he clearly had the power to do so. (just not the disposition, until the eighth)
