    Ding wasn't a bad opponent, and IMO constituted a step up for Denis.

    If not his best opponent to date, 2nd after Bidenko. Clearly better than anyone else.

    There really is no excuse not to put him in against Juan Carlos Gomez now, with Universum owning both fighter they may as well. Maybe at a push even stick him in against Chagaev for the same reasons.

    For purposes of credibility, Gomez needs to be coming off a win. Maybe a rematch with Ding?

    Yeah and Tyson was shot by 25 whats your point? First person I ever heard say 37 isn't so old in boxing terms.:patsch

    Everyone is different and everyone has different primes and different times when they just dont have it and Wilson(who was never anything more then an exciting fighter) is shot and started at 175.

    He lost to Owen fucing Beck for Christ sake.

    He took the fight on short notice that's what his biggest problem was tonight.

    30 fights now and we still havent seen him get testet!
    Pulev with only 15 fights has shown me more so far!

    I think they were just showing 2 of the untelevised undercard bouts on that legal stream, the rest is being broadcast on some german channel

    Gomez was fighting one-handed and in many people's view (mine included) deserved the win even just throwing jabs, as most of Ding's body punches didn't get through cleanly and virtually none of his head shots.

    Ding hasn't been embarrassing himself in his HW campaign and has been giving an honest effort, he just isn't near the top contender level. He's a middle of the road, solid gatekeeper type. Good enough to be considered a step up for Boytsov, but not enough to be called a great scalp (even with the unexpected KO).

    Looks good on the paper now but really.. If you are a hot prospect and mentioned as a future champ: you gotta stop 37 years old and overweighted Darnelll Wilson. It would have been different thing if darnells name was Marion hehe.. That was the.result I was looking for and it happened..

    He got a gift in that fight and who the **** is Gomez anymore? He's a joke fighting title eliminators against Oliver McCall.

    And his biggest problem is he's just not good.

    Bydenko.....:thinkI feel like he's a china chinned version of Quezada. But I don't rate Arreola's resume either.:D

    And as for the fix.....not so much a dive as a kinda "win or lose, you got a deal with us to work with our guys."

    No need to get up after that shot since he's likely guaranteed 20K per fight for about another 4 yrs.:good
    He knows he got a taste when he got the nod vs Gomez. Why rock the boat?:yep

    I meant more like that was just remains of Wilson. Good Chin still was there but the fighter inside him not.. Wilson is tough ******* nonetheless.

    damn... Wilson is nice guy and writes here sometimes. It sucks to see guy you "almost" know getting beat up like that..
