If you are more successful at moving backwards while keeping you're lead foot on the outside than your opponent is at keeping his outside coming forward, the former of which is easier, then the aggressor will be reduced to fighting in straight lines. When an opponent tries to back straight up against Pacquiao's offense, it gives him time to confuse them with feints and target different parts of the head and body before pivoting to the right and restarting his offense from an unreachable angle. If you do what Mosley and Marquez did, he'll constantly be lunging at nothing while trying desperately to reach. He's an aggressive fighter, but not a traditional swarmer/in-fighter, so cutting off the ring to trap and muscle his opponent was never his prerogative. He would obviously do well to learn some, but it has only appeared to be lacking under specific circumstances, particularly elite lateral movement.

Hmm.. I dunno, why are u such a lil ******?

Is it cause ur daddy buttraped u every night while ur Mom was out gettin gangbanged like the slut she is? :think

What that got to do with his lack of skill when it comes to cutting off a f'n ring???... If he knew how he could have stopped Mosley who was looking for any f'n excuse to get out of the fight.

Pac won every single round against Mosley. People forget that. There's a difference between cutting the ring off against a guy who is boxing you and scoring points... and cutting the ring off against a guy who is just trying to survive and giving up rounds. Any top ranked pro boxer who strictly tries to survive without trying to win the fight will be hard to cut off (although Pac still managed to KO Cotto when he was in survival mode). If they try to win rounds by boxing against Pac he gets to them.

Yea, Mosley made Pac look amatuer at times-We were talkin about how he "chased" Shane around-Sure, he won every round (I had it 10-2) BUT he was exposed for having some poor game in many areas.

Pac does not have good footwork..not hating-just tellin it like it is.

Pac never got to Marquez. Pac was reduced to throwing arm punches against Marquez which is insane given how much pac has improved since their second fight.
