This fight would never go the distance, as both guys are knockout artists and always come forward. Pac would have trouble with Trinidad's reach; Trinidad would be troubled by Pac's superior hand and foot speed. The first one who lands home probably wins; my money would be on Pac because he can land sneaky punches from weird angles.
Manny would have never step in the ring with Tito esp. at 147. Please people lets stop this nonsense Margarito almost made Manny quit in round 8, it came from the horses mouth. The only fighters at WW that would have given Tito a fight for his money are the guys from the 80's. Other than that people are just being ridiculous.
How many title defenses at 147, how many KO's, how many elites he defeated, how many 0's did he take, how many fighters he destroy? Two powerful hands, underrated jab, amazing body attack no one mentions, one the greatest finishers in the sport of boxing. All that is simply enough for Manny to have never step in the ring with Tito.:deal
All these qualities, Pac has them too. He actually destroyed more quality fighters than Tito. And he never went down so many times as Tito. :deal
Trinidad's best win is Vargas. Whitaker was way past his prime, and Hoya arguably beat Tito. Compare that with Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Hatton; all destroyed. Add Mosley , Margarito, Hoya, Clottey, running for their life against the much smaller man. Pac sent iron chinned David Diaz crumbling face first to the canvas .
Felix would hit the canvas about every 30secs until the ref saves him, he was one of the most overrated fighters ever and not remotely in the same league as a prime-Pacquiao.
people wont give pac his due against atg's cos he s not a true welter- and a very very small junior welter. lets face it- before he fought shane, cotto, ricky, oscar, tony, etc, etc- there was a large number of people who thought "he s not a legit welter- what happens when he gets hit, he ll crumple" - and people still do- and always will. It s more fashionable to tear down a fighter such as he and floyd than to appreciate them anyway. the fact is - is that you re comparing pac to a welter who retired 10 years ago almost. we re comparing him to history at this point. he and floyd have cleared out all of their peers. that much is without debate. comparing somebody to history is always going to be flawed- and totally unprovable of course. somebody calling somebody else an idiot for thinking pac would beat tito OR tito would beat pac is ridiculous. its like calling somebody an idiot for thinking a t-rex would beat godzilla. theyre every bit as mythical and unlikely to happen as each other. we can discuss and debate- but to invalidate someones point on something thats pure fantasy is plain ignorance and against the spirit of historical discussion.
