Well apparently both have been confirmed by Bob Arum, that's the bloke who said you shouldn't negotiate through the press if you're serious last week.

Obviously the 50/50 is the fairest deal, but 40 mil guarantee + PPV could be better than 50%, and would at least be in the neighborhood of 45-55%:rofl

Just make the ****ing fight already.:rofl

pacquiao simply asked a 50/50 split just like what they agreed before.

floyd turned it down and offered a low-ball guarantee with no PPV upside.

God, why are people still hung up on the 40 mill offer? Its called "negotiations" this is the opening offer and it is usually followed by drawn out back and forth. Remember this is the first time the sides have really talk since Bob was avoiding GBP calls like it was the IRS. Floyd had to call Pac direct. At the end of the day 50-50 is about right but it depends on If PBF is taking on more risk by putting his own money on the line

50/50 split is the ONLY FAIR share...who cares if it´s pac biggest payday to get 40 mill.
it would without any question also be Floyds biggest payday if he take the 50 %!!!!

pac doesn't need all this floyd ****. if floyd wants to invest, do it in his own half. guarantee his own purse and fight. pac has top rank to guarantee his other half and promote his fight.

should be 50/50, unless there are some other extraordinary circumstances I dont know about in the promoting of the fight or other costs, in which case they make a concession for that and make the fight. it's obviously not happening in may though it seems.

The same can be said of Mayweather if he accedes to Arum's offer. i.r. it will be the biggest paycheck in his career.

You people need to understand Manny's biggest payday is prolly between the range of 20-25 mil including ppv, ticket, ect. Floyd made over 40mil against ortiz.....Not to mention that Arum said even if Pac accepted a 50/50 split he probably wouldn't allow it because he(Arum) wants more. This is not a split between floyd and manny but floyd, manny, and Arum, and this is why this fight wont happen until Arum gets all the money he cant with all these bull**** inhouse fights he gives manny before he feed manny to the Alpha Wolf(Money)

So why did it take manny and his team 2.5 years to accept and why would they send an email asking what would happen if he tested positive??????

Floyd was never offered a legit 50/50 split of everything form team Pac what Arum offered him was similar to what he offered Pac but something like 5 million difference which is peanuts really so this whole thread is nonsense
