No you seem to be implying that just because he's gonna fight some journeymen next, he's ducking the elite competition again. And Froch has clearly chosen his next fight now hasn't he? If not Bute should go after Froch, it's basically his only chance to get a fight with Ward anytime soon.

 

He IS DUCKING Dirrell and Showtimes demands, however. YOU AND ME BOTH KNOW THIS.

 

Ofc he's ducking Dirrell, who wouldn't, the guy is basically unknown and brings nothing to the table at all, and there's quite a chance that Bute will lose against him. Also say what you wan't but Ward's ducking Dirrell and Bute in my eyes too.

 

Even if Ward were ducking them, he's fought and beat Froch,Kessler and Abraham. He's the legitimate champion of the SMW division, PERIOD.

Bute needs to step up, he's needed to do this for four years, and hasn't. I don't care if him and Ward never fights, he's nobody.. really. Ward can move onto better and bigger fights, he can move up to LHW and make noise if he wants to, he doesn't need Bute.

what can be a better move for ward or dirrell for that matter than face bute. Ward...unification and bragging rights (and mucho money) Dirrell...ibf belst and bragging rights (and mucho money) what else is there in boxing than titles and money? pls answer.

 

He doesn't need Bute but fans want to see the fight and it's the best fight that can be made in SMW, if you don't want to see it you are not a fan of boxing period. Of course just because Ward is #1 in SMW you'd rather have him fight Kessler or Anthony Dirrell now instead of Bute or Dirrell.

 

Bute is just a guy with an unbeaten record, although thats in serious question from the first Andrade fight.

He's fought nobody, really.. he should step up and fight someone and prove he's worthy of AW's time. Although, I think him and his team knows if he steps up against someone like Dirrell who is more than capable physically, he'll end up like Duane Bobick did against Ken Norton.

Now you made me disrespect Duane Bobick whom I have great adulation for, he stepped up with an unbeaten record, Bute has NOT.

Bute should just stop wasting our time and fight someone already.

 

Carl could very well be bluffin right now in order to make Interbox boost their offers, we know mind games are part of negotiations. But anyhow I still hope that they're gonna be fighting this year (Bute-Froch)

I hope Carl sticks to his guns and demands the fight to be made in neutral territory, or at home. He's been a road warrior for the longest now, he deserves to bring attendances in England, which he DOES. But he CHOSE to fight away, because he's a WARRIOR.

See... that's the difference between a Bute and Arthur Abraham, Abraham could well have been feasting on nobodies in Germany by now and kept an unbeaten record like Bute, he CHOSE TO GO AND MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF.

Canadians say "Oh but he brings 20k to Montreal to see him fight".. but OH, Arthur Abraham did the same in Germany, but decided to go and try and make a legacy in America.

 

Dude, I don't get why you bringing this stepping up bull****. Fans are demanding this fight and Bute is clearly the cash cow of the division, Ward has nothing to lose pretty much (seeing as Ward fans say that Bute has no chance to win) and everything to gain.
