Bla bla bla NOBODY AVAILABLE bla bla bla MANDATORIES bla bla bla MOST SENSE BUSINESSWISE

Bute's case is hardly defendable and it would be even harder to defend him if he doesn't fight Dirrell.

Ward is coming off an injury, said before the S6 ended that he'd probably take a little time off after the tournament. Give the man a break, he's fought hard opposition for the past few years and he's injured his hand.

Meanwhile, Bute has done nothing.... he could step up in the meanwhile and prove his worth. Andre Ward is the champion.

They fail to mention the fact that Arthur,Kessler and Froch could've all said "NO" to Super Six and stayed at home, fighting for big purses against nobodies, for these four years.. much like Bute.

They didn't, they all tried to make a legacy for themselves. They all deserve our adulation and respect.

Its not as though Kessler and Arthur Abraham would've had a hard time filling Parken/Germany Arenas.

Everytime there is talk of Bute vs a top fighter the Bute fans come out and start listing reasons why Bute shouldn't take the fight. What kind of boxing fans are these guys?:rofl:patsch

Go fight Dirrell in the USA and prove everyone wrong Lucy. Go do it.

Hard opposition? Don't make me laugh, Ward got the lucky and easy way to the top. Dirrell, Bute and to a lesser extent Froch would have been hard opposition not AA, Kessler and Froch.

Although I agree he does need a break and because of that SMW will not have any good fights anytime soon. Bute won't fight Dirrell (didn't he also said no Bute fight just now), forget about it there's just nothing to gain, and Froch fight cannot be made. So now we will have 3 talents of the division fighting journeymen or no one at all.

I seriously doubt Bute would have accepted to take part to the S6 even if he was invited. :hat

Now again, MrMagic wasn't direcly referring to the S6 I believe.

Bute can fight Dirrell in the USA, Froch in England or a bar tender in Montreal. Wonder what he will chose?:rofl

    Exact.

Lucian has had a too easy life these last couple of years if you compare him to the other top SuperMiddlweights. He should fight Dirrell in USA and then Ward will give him his chance I think.

    ...1 ...

Froch and Ward are the two names beside Kessler -who's busy- that are expected as Bute's next opponent. Anything less is a disappointment i.e. less marketable fight. Ward & Froch were not available previously, hence why they couldn't do better than Magee and Johnson.

You got nothing, really. You just don't want Bute to get the glory that comes with beating Froch who's Ward's best win.

Bute is ducking Dirrell as much as Ward is ducking Bute. Nothing you say will change that.

Kessler not hard oposition? He was the number 1 at 168 lbs. Froch is then hes second best win and was top 3 also. Abraham not so good but decent aswell as Bika.

    C'mon son
Bute needs more that Dirrell fight right now than Ward needs the Bute fight. Yo get me ? That's why I blame more easily Bute for not taking the Dirrell fight than Ward for not fighting Bute.

Now again, I like Lucian as a fighter & I'll be rooting for him if he fights against Ward. But honestly the way you & other hardcore Buttlickers protect him in any situation is truly pathetic. :tired

If the Bute-Ward fight can wait in order to generate more money, so can the Bute-Dirrell fight. Yo get me?

Just as Bute could go beat Froch or Kessler and challenge Ward for big bucks, Dirrell could go beat Bika or Johnson and challenge Bute for big bucks.

    Don't apply double standards. :good

"Protect him"? If you can't understand business decisions in boxing, not ma ****in problem.
