if the guy is struggling to make it in the most corrupt sport in history with the money men in his corner the future does not look to bright imo. the guy will spend more time dealing with appeals than actually in a ring
If your talking pure boxing terms then I'd say Khan deserves an immediate rematch and Peterson deserves at 50/50 and in all honesty Peterson shouldn't have been 9/1 against. If you talk business and say AK's worth $20m then I think you'd agree he was stupid to take it in Washington and not winning a rematch could cost him a $15 bout against Mayweather.
Also on the buisness side, while some are saying Peterson is not the draw you have to factor in other thing. Khan could offer $1mil, Marquez $2mil, Pac $3mil. Lamont then has to decide which deal's best based on each purse and his potential to win and earn after each fight. Either way Khan has to/should make a strong offer.
khan is not a big draw.full stop,he can't sell PPV full stop, why he should get the lions share is beyond me............................... the only folk who think he is are khan, his dumb as **** team that *** laz, darni kingcockkhan and a few more up his arse nutthuggers
It is wrong, non of what has gone on since the fight is his fault. It should be at least 50/50.Khan deserves a rematch but the way he is talking it is as though he clearly won most of the rounds and got jobbed. It was not the case and he could quite easily lose again here.
bless, ive upset the *** laz, whats the matter sweetheart, upset about you boy not being or ever being a big draw? fury got more on ch 5 than khan got against mcclosky, still smarts don't it **** for brains:hi:
Good post p townend. I completely agree, boxing/business terms an even split rematch is fair but Khan has to realise he needs this. His fans can say what they want, but he isn't a massive draw. Tbh I think his career has been managed poorly lately. If he had all these bouts in the UK he'd probably have a huge fan base here like Hatton did.
