Corey was a little bigger than Floyd, but at 147; Mayweather can do anything that Spinks can do, better.

154 would be a closer fight, but I'd still pick Floyd's talent advantage to see him through. A key factor would be Floyd being able to carry 154lbs on his frame which he has shown he can do. Corey uses his size to tighten things on the scorecards, but still comes up short. Significantly short.

It would be a boring fight for casuals, but a very close fight, but I think Mayweather is better.

Mayweather by UD. Spinks was a clever and skilled boxer, but Floyd is a level above.

Yep it would be very very close. Their would of been instances where Cory might of even outboxed Floyd and force Floyd to be the agressor. Cory had a nice jab to the body and a really nice lead straight left. Prime Cory lacked pop, but he was fundamentally sound. Didnt haveba great defense, but it didnt suck either. His feints were pretty good too. I really like how he'd fool Taylor he'd jab upstairs but then go to the body. At times it seemed he was schooling the bigger Taylor. Floyd by MD or SD.

Tough tricky fight for both, not a fan-favorite's fight of course. Mayweather by SD.

You guys seem to forget that Cory Spinks was knocked out by Zab Judah!

Zab had that kind of power if he can get it in. Spinks just got caught and could not weather the storm. They are one for one though.

Its been a long time since I watched spinks fight, he was bigger than mayweather and gave taylor problems but he also didnt use his size so it wouldnt be a huge factor. I think mayweather is too versatile and will have him figured out but it would be an interesting feel out processes. Mayweather would probably have to be the aggressor as others said. In general I like the guy with conventional skills over unconventional guys especially when the former has really good speed when the unconventional guy is used to having that speed advantage.

Casual fans would ***** about it but I think a lot of people would have liked to seen it a while back at 154. I liked seeing Paulie M against Khan even though paulie lost every round it was cool seeing two guys in there with that much speed that you usually dont see. Zab vs khan was a disappointment because zab didnt have the heart that paulie m did.

i can see this fight being one where mayweather has to do the work and because cory makes mayweather miss a little more then he normally does and maybe catches mayweather clean and lasts the distance you would have a good amount of people crying robbery afterwords

i could see it looking alot like the salomon vs wright fight where one guys odd angles and ability to win rounds makes it look alot closer then it realy is

Floyd wins this one. It's a pure boxing match and no one is beating Floyd at that game.
