So sad hearing Barkley is going to fight again!

WOW! Simply wow, Buncey. That was emotional stuff with Iran.

 

Listening to Iran & how he is these days was tough, he was a genuine warrior & one of my favourites.

The worst thing is, he sounded as if he knows he is going to be laid out cold, but has no choice financially.

And to think, just last week it was announced Lennox is worth £120 million. It's such a shame how many boxers spend away a career load of money in the space of 15 or so years. So sad

 

I suppose some fighters are smarter than others and some probably get better financial advice than others. Maybe some just don't listen to any advice they get. I don't know.

You're right though, it is sad. I feel sorry for some of these guys.

 

sad to see a man like that, but read an article mike marley wrote about Iran. Basically the reason hes ****ed is because he wont get a normal job, as if hes above driving a cab or sweeping streets was the jist of it
