When you guys talk about PPV figures and amounts, are you talking purely about USA PPV buys or worldwide buys? In UK, we usually pay £15 ($24) for PPV and I am pretty sure most countries outside of USA pay lower fees than people in the USA.

Estimations are from Experts from HBO that feel the record which is 2.4 by ODH v FMM but with more people owning Cable these days and the fact this fight has been the biggest built fight in history they are Estimating anywhere from 2 million at the very Worst to 3 Million a very huge night which i feel they could get it that far.

Please stop being so Moronic with **** Maths **** when it doesnt take a ****ing rocket scientist to work this **** out.

Me personally if they do fight i think it will do somewhere between
2.7 million PPV to 2.8 Million PPV sales.

Then also i feel it will beat the highest recorded LIve Gate which was 19 million from the same fight of Dela Hoya and PBF.

Your sitting there calling us stupid when its pretty ****ing obvious.:good

Yeah I dont know what HBO have done in the past with this money and if International Rights have gone to fighters.

Like Ive been saying channels overseas Pay a Lump Fee for the rights but which HBO get then the Company itself say it SKY SPORTS 1 keeps the PPV money from what they sold in the UK.

But how much does HBO make from Sky sports i cant answer this.

I would think that it would cost somehwere between what 5 million to 10 million for each TV network.

But say they dont do that say they make them pay less like $2 million and keep half of every PPV sale.

It would be interesting to know because i have been trying to get that point across to the ****ing Floyd Fans that Pacquiao Internationally would outsell Floyd its just these numbers never get released.

I would bet money that Pacquiao would out sell Mayweather PPV in Asia by at least 4 to 1 but they will try to tell you he is the PPV King and should get more WHY.

Should be and even real Floyd fans would Agree its 50/50 fight.:deal

I don't think it's a reliable source (Although i have seen *******s use it in the past) so I'm not gonna start a thread, but check this out:

    Hope it's true:

being that ODLH was a bigger draw than both these guys, and neither has really come close to 2MM w/o him (and many of the poeple buying a FMJ fight are also buying a PAC fight, thus they are sharing buys) and boxing is hardly mainstream, getting close to 3MM ppv is ******ed...the numbers do not support that...if fact, if you assume that all of the people who bought pac-jmm3 did not buy fmj - ortiz, (which is a stupid assumption) and you combine those two events, you still fall short of 3MM

Being that said Mayweather sells very well and so does Pacquiao how could you not expect it in this day and age to be the highest. I think the fact the fight has been talked about more than a Tyson vs Holyfield after Prison fight or its got more attention than a Hagler Hearns fight.

I believe and so should you it will beat the 2.4 million PPV record.
I think you would be naive not to think it will be the highest ever PPV.

Escpecially when such No Name fighters like Ortiz and even Marquez they are not huge PPV salesmen.

But you put PBF and PAC together you get a huge number.

Like i said i feel it will do 2.7 which is still huge and at a average of $60 US per buy thats alot of coin.

i'm not so sure it breaks that 2.4

there is a big overlap with the buyers who pay for floyd and pac fights...and this fight has lost a lot of it's glimmer to the casual fan

This fight is more anticipated than any other fight in History.

I cant remember any other fight having this much. Like i said but hey because Mayweather is a bit of a ***** the fight is never going to happen anyway.

Thats the real point probably never take place but if it does i think like most at HBO that it will Break the PPV record.

Floyd has beaten all of his opponents including and since Oscar by fighting fights which, going into, would have favored his opponents. He beat them at their own game. Oscar- mixing up outside and inside and being tactical, Hatton- mugging, dirty inside fight, Marquez- boxed and timed to death, Mosley- walked down with power punches, Ortiz- out threw the volume puncher and ended a controversial fight controversially.
