I'd say that Ward is about 2 good wins away from the HOF as we speak. One of those wins would have to be over Bute to seal up the division and perhaps a move up to 175 if the right opportunity presents itself. Quality over quantity in his case.

Dawson has HOF potential as well, but his ho-hum style just kills him with the fans. I can't even remember a guy with so much talent and ability with so little buzz around him. You almost have to remind yourself that this guy's got wins over Tarver, Adamek, Johnson, and Diaconu on his record. He was coming on strong at the end of the fight he lost too.

I know he's trying to get another gold medal but I wish we could see him become pro already......I'm surprised the lure of money hasn't made him done so yet.

Exactly, I mean making history is cute and all but in this context it ain't gonna financially secure dude, and by the time he does turn pro he will be 25 and by the time he possibly gets adjusted to the pro game he will be 27 or 28 and you never know if his rise as a prospect can be a bit rough which could slow his process even more. He should have turned pro back in 08/09.

yup, he definately missing out on "real" money and fame. just look at how fast his friend Broners career is taking off and broners younger than Warrren.
