At 154 .. if that turns out to be the case, when he could fight Cotto instead.

Cotto is a great fight that everyone has wanted to see for a long time. Alvarez has no chance at all and doesn't belong in the ring with Floyd.

Cotto said he was willing to fight Mayweather or Pac at 154. So if Floyd is ok at fighting at 154 against Alvarez, no reason he shouldn't fight Cotto instead.

Hopefully the Alvarez thing turns out not to be true. And I have doubts Floyd' will fight at the 154 limit considering he said recently he wanted Martinez at 150.

Im thinking its gonna come down to money. Canelo is a big boy. Much bigger than mayweather and cotto. Fighting him at the full 154 is a big risk. Trust me, when u see those two next to eachother, canelo is gonna dwarf him. I think Canelo will sell more tickets and ppv than Cotto but does he want more money cause of that? 150 Canelo would be okay but not shocking as 154.

Of course . He has has a of a lot bigger chance then Alvarez anyway.

But then again I don't think Floyd is invincible like you do.

So it was alright when PAC went up to fight an unranked margarita for a paper title, at a catchweight, but it's not alright when Floyd goes to fight the champ???

Something about your logic is rather fascinating

Rep, you know Grand Taco is just hatin'! Next thing the rumour will be that he is fighting Cotto and he will be talking about Cotto is shot and fighting Pac's leftovers.

wait wait wait, so if floyd fights cotto, he's fighting pacquiao's leftovers, and if he fights canelo, he's fighting a guy who's too inexperienced. as far as i'm concerned, it's a lose lose situation in the eyes of hardcore fans either way and therefore he should fight either of them. I like the canelo fight more because canelo will actually try and test floyd physically, impose his will, whereas cotto will probably elect to box. no excuse? so who should he be fighting? because pacquiao's surely out.

i dont know what to think about cotto at this point of his career i mean he looked ok vs foreman and he looked bad against mayorga but then he looked great against margarito but everybody does cause hes a walking punching bag shane pac and cotto completly dominated him and he looked terrible vs a journeyman as far as canelo being the better choice i feel canelo is stronger of the two much bigger hes the yougner fresher opponant but i feel cotto is a more complete boxer then canelo

Cotto and Alvarez have as much of a chance as Pacquiao. They have no chance at beating Mayweather.
