most exciting fighters ever, who weren't elite

    troy dorsey, scott pemberton, omar shieka, courtney burton, julian letterlough, joe hipp...who else?

    Chacon and Gatti. Never a bad fight between either of them. If you aren't hip to Chacon, get on it. He wasn't unbeatable, but real good, and a thrill a minute.

    What did you consider elite?

    Guys like Arturo Gatti and Lamon Brewster, for example, were among the top fighters in the divisions they competed in.

    chacon's one of my favorite fighters ever. I wouldnt consider either of them because they've both held world titles. i'm talking about guys who have maybe only ever made it to regional titles, lesser sanctioning bodies like the wbf, and naba and nabf status at best. but then again troy dorsey held world titles, so you're good.

    Gatti, augustus, maidana, kendal holt, edison miranda, diego corrales, arce, i want to say brandon rios but time will tell whether he's a great fighter or just someone who puts on great fights.
