    Ripshitty strikes again

I have Marciano between 8-10. Just outside of top ten is fair IMO. Certainly not breaking into the top 5 IMO.

Ha Ha He Grant opens his mouth and can not back up with facts, he is one of the biased ones who wear rose colored glasses when its time to criticize Holmes but takes out the magnifier glasses when trying to find a speck on Rocky's resume

    You nailed him JT

    1. Ali
    2. Louis
    3. Lennox
    4. Foreman
    5. Evander
    6. Tyson
    7. Holmes
    8. Frazier
    9. Marciano
    10. Liston

    1&2: any order
    3-5; any order.
    6-9; any order
10; one of about five guys could reasonably go there. I used to have Larry much higher, but I think he's overrated nowadays so I'm putting him further down, questions, at this point, not welcome.

my only question with marciano against much larger, quality, opponents is his chin. obviously it was great but could he last long enough to do his stuff against the best big guys?

Both Arreola and Peter would KO Marciano.

Size matters when size difference is so huge.

I love Rocky, but having boxed at a pretty darn high level, I can attest to this.

I'm not saying Peter and Cris would KO Rock, because both guys are pretty soft and weak in the head(Bad things to be against Marciano), but the great little guy very rarely beats a great huge guy when that huge guy knows how to fight huge.

I'm a massive human being, I've boxed 175ers and cruisers that are world ranked, and one who was a champion at the time, and I well and truly beat them up. My punches hurt, theirs stung. I moved them where I wanted. They always had to give ground in exchanges. When we tied up, I was the boss. Things like that are more significant than most think they are. I never ended up ****, but my size has bailed me out of plenty of situations. It writes AND cashes checks my skills and mediocre speed would bounce.

But Peter and Cris are not great. I think Marciano beats em.

Peter quits, Cris gasses, then quits are gets wrecked.

    We are in agreement.

One thing Marciano would never do, is quit or gas. You better be ready to take him to the woodshed for 12-15 entire rounds.

I know fighters from the past have a mythical aura about them, but I genuinely think 184lbs Rocky Marciano would mincemeat any of the mentioned jokes.

You seriously believe 185lb Marciano could outbrawl Peter and Arreola? Not outbox but outbrawl them?
