UFC 143 Nick Diaz v Carlos Condi

    Last week we had 1 Sky show, but this weekend we have 3 BoxNation shows, the Sky show, and ESPN have their freeview weekend.

    I assumed it simply meant the Man City Saturday teatime game only for me, but I may give UFC another go.

    I will be Sky+ing the Chavez & Donaire fights, but will do a double record and give Diaz v Condi ago.

    Is the UFC card decent for a non follower?

    How does it stack against the boxing from Mexico?

    Main event will be a striking battle between two of the best at it. Got FOTY all over it.

    The whole UFC set up - build up will hopefully give you a buzz, a buzz I dont really get from boxing anymore unless its a big fight...most UFC events have good match up's and the enthusiasm for the sport helps.

    The main event by all accounts should be pure unadultered violence. Diaz and Condit have to be the highest level technicians in the game willing to fight so violently for every second of every round. Most guys with their skills don't use them in that fashion.

    This weekend, Diaz vs Condit is the fight to watch.

    The good thing is the main event shouldn't start till after the fights at the Alamodome. Diaz is the biggest wank in the UFC after Sonnen but he brings it.
