People are saying he cleaned out the division and I just disagree, and you need to calm the **** down lol. Remember when Froch-Bute was in talks and there was a poll who will win Bute or Froch, almost everyone said Bute because Froch just isn't that great.

i agree Bute beats froch and easily....i think bute is a solid #2 in the 168 pound world. im a fan of his. as a boxing fan is sucks to see all that talent against no hopers.

 

Ward is the king of the smws who actually fight in real life.

Bute has proved nothing in comparison.

 

Exactly! Ward just spent the better part of two years fighting the best in a grueling tournament, while Bute feasted on no-hopers. Ward deserves a soft touch before stepping up. He'll get to Bute soon enough.

I really like some of the older, more experienced posters like Pimp C and Scar's input on here, the whole Bute community has me in a crosshair, at least their unbiased views tell you all you need to know.

We've all seen this before, ain't nothing new... Bute is nothing but a bum feasting hometown fraud.

 

I said before the Froch/Ward fight that one of the reasons I wanted Froch to win, was because you could guarantee he'd fight the best if he did. I'm disappointed that Ward doesn't have that same mentality. Yeah, he's had a few tough fights but they've been over the space of years, so he's had plenty of time to recover. It's not like he's getting hurt in these fights either.

It's just disappointing. If Froch had won, a Bute fight would have been signed. If that couldn't be made, we'd be getting Kessler II. That's what a champion should do.

Sadly, Bute fans and Ward fans seem to clash a lot. Those groups should both be angry at their favourite fighter instead.

 

Diaconu for all his flaws fought Pascal, Bute has not even made a step towards making such a fight.

 

who says it wont? Ward has earned a break and recovery for his brpoken hand. It has been ONE month since the fight lol. We will see what happens later on this year. But out of the 2 (Ward and Bute), one has accomplished alot the other has not.

 

Actually Diaconu fought Pascal and Dawson, but we don't really expect you to care for anyone else but Pascal. :yep

 

You Bute fans calling out Ward is like calling out your worst nightmare. Ward is going to tool Bute when they do meet. Ward is a complete fighter who can fight at all ranges with good defense and a high ring IQ.:deal He will absolutelty take Bute apart in grand fashion and I'll be right here reminding you that I told you so.:hi: So you might not be so quick to call out Ward if you value your hero to remain undefeated.

 

I just gave him props for stepping up, unlike Bute. I'm sure with the attendances he drew, he could've had a paper belt handed to him on a silver platter too, and defended it against no-hopers for years and years.
