Only seen Provodnikov in that fight with Torres, If its a step up for Alvarado I suppose they are both considered prospects.

2 prospects isnt a co-main event for me.

Its a solid co-main for what I assume is a Non-PPV HBO card. Seth Mitchell against Ibragimov was the last non-ppv co-main on HBO and I'd say this is comfortably more intriguing than that fight.

Perennial fast-starter Gamboa will ''survive'' early on against perennial slow-starter Rios?

Who the ****s complaining about Prov/Alvarado? That can't fail to be a FOTY candidate!

IMO, Rios' physicality will be too much for Gamboa. The Cuban might have success early on and sweep the first few rounds but Rios will get to him before the 12th.

Gamboa vs Rios will be epic. At 135 Rios is there for the taking. Maybe he'll train his arse off for this fight. Can't imagine he was too up for Murray. If Peterson is gonna bottle it against Khan then JMM is a quality match up.
