Who's more popular in Canada?

    No one relatively speaking cares about Boxing in Canada. Iceman 71 is right. The extinct Expos are more popular.

    It is probably why for the last Pascal and Bute's fights the 16,000 seats got sold within hours in Qc city... :patsch

    Well whoop de damn do its an occasion/spectacle just like INDYcars or the Grand prix. Those are casual fans just like me watching the Toronto FC for the kicks. I dont follow MLS at all but I go.

    Man there are tons of boxing fans in canada, we just dont have a ton to cheer for outside of quebec. Steve Molitor used to pack em in at casino rama(not that its a big venue) but there are a lot of boxing fans, we just need either a big star who is canadian or some big fights to come to canada.

    For Boxing to be a top 10 sports in Canada, youd need someone as big as Lennox was and Ruddock to a lesser extent. Until then, it would take a backseat to Curling. Not that theres anything wrong with Curling.
