    Lol, Sexton would beat Welliver.

    Welliver world Ranking 62
    Sexton World Ranking 30

    those rankings were about right.

Don't pay any attention to boxrec ratings. They are a gimmick, based on computer formulas which cannot translate reality into ratings.

Just for the record, Sexton's list of wins is no better than Chauncy's, and Sexton shouldn't be rated above him. I regard Chauncy vs Sexton as a competitive match. If Chauncy wins, then moves into a higher category in my book.

That's because I'm a genius matchmaker, and someone needs to give me a job.

Sextons wins over Rogan are better than any wins that Chauncy has

Rogan vs Chauncy would be a good fight when you think about it, well if it's fought at the Odyssey Arena Belfast. Chauncy brings his 3 titles and high ranking to the table while Rogan is able to sell out the Odyssey Arena which holds up to 11,400.

Both similar style fighters as well who I think have never been down. Rogan has scalped the better names so far though.

Sexton did beat Rogan and Pele Reid, now that I think about it. You may have a point.

Rogan is a brawler, no? Chauncy is more of a tricky slap and move kind of guy.

Sort of, Rogan throws a lot of punches and constantly moves forward absorbing a lot of punishment. I may be wrong but I think his two defeats to Sexton may have been due to cuts.

He lost twice to Sexton. Rogan vs Chauncy would be a good step up fight for Chauncy, and I'm guessing that Chauncy would be too slick for him. Rogan would have go to NZ/China though.

Wouldn't be any point fighting Rogan though if it's not in Belfast. Who else out there that is around C level that can bring in at least 10'000 spectators with practically no under card? According to Rogan at Belfast's odyssey arena only he and Beyonce have ever managed to fill the stadium.

Also the main reason why Fury and his team were so desperate to fight Rogan in Belfast.

But Chauncy is the world rated guy, on a winning streak, and Rogan isn't. Chauncy would be the "A" side and Rogan would be the "B" side. Thus, it's unrealistic to expect that Chauncy would go to Ireland, where his opponent's team would control the fight conditions.

The only way any world-rated heavyweight would go to Belfast is if: 1) the world rated guy could bring his own judges and referee with him (which is reasonable and realistic), and 2) the world rated guy got a great payday from filling the stadium in Belfast.

I doubt that this fight would generate enough revenue to make it possible for the UK promoter to give Chauncy the conditions I describe above.

I disagree. Chauncy would most likely beat Rogan, by very wide UD. Rogan is a fairly recognizable name in the boxing world, and by beating Rogan, Chauncy would be showing everyone that he's stepping up his level of comp. That would help him.

The more I think about it, the more I think that Rogan might be perfect for Chauncy, stylistically.

Rogan would have to go to NZ or China, and probably wouldn't get more than $15K for the match. But Rogan has nothing to lose.

Perhaps if Chauncy's management bribes a boxing organization official he will become a mandatory....that is the only way he gets a title shot.

Well Rogan turned down something around £50'000 to £70'000 (Sterling) when Fury's team offered him the fight at Belfast less than a year ago so there's no chance he fights for $15k ( probably about £10'000 ) while having to travel.

I didn't know that Rogan turned that much money down. Interesting. I agree that as long as Rogan is that marketable at home, he wouldn't and shouldn't take short money fighting abroad.
