Not that i'm one to care too much about this kind of **** but it's the two of the three biggest PPV stars in boxing squaring off. Can only be good for the sport
Pacquiao vs Bradley wont do nowhere as well as Mayweather Cotto. Also there will be a few mexican fighters fighting on the undercard on may 5th which will boost the PPV's that much more.

This fight is a win/win for boxing fans! Regardless of what anyone says, Floyd/Cotto will be a great fight! When has Cotto ever been in a boring one? Win or lose, the man brings it! And finally, Arum's true colors shine bright and clear...he milks his star fighters for years against favorable matchups while depriving the boxing world of great fights like this one! Great fight and could not be happier for Cotto, and much props to Floyd for not pulling that catchweight b.s. when its not necessary!:good
I was referring to Floyd. I thought the Floydette argument was that Pac shouldn't walk away but instead negotiate a compromise away from the Floyd's lowball offer. Apparently, first chance Floyd got to make a fight with somebody else, he took it.
ANd? As a fight fan, do you like these fights? Oh wait, you prefer to cheer about who gonna get more ppvs...:tired
I once again must re-iterate that as much as I detest him as a human being, I have to respect Floyd Mayweather Jr. as a boxer. I do not understand anyone who sees this as a non-event. Bar Pacquiao and Martinez, this is the most significant fight to be made for him, and it is one that people were asking for back when they were light-welters and while Cotto was at welter. Fingers crossed it is signed, sealed and delivered without controversy, so we can kickback and enjoy the fight.
cotto's got a heavy jab, I only hope cotto has an answer for the pull counter when he throws the jab.
