My thoughts exactly. And as I see Mayweather handling Pacquiao very easily, I don't really see a Cotto fight as settling for an inferior product. Bring it on.
Yep should've been made in 2008 but obviously Floyd's "vacation" was more important at that time. But I still like the fight though and glad it's getting made (hopefully) :good
I take it it's a coincidence that as soon as Cotto leaves Arum the fight with Mayweather gets made. It's the best fight outside of Mayweather vs Pacquiao unless he wanted to drag Martinez down a division, credit to Floyd for stepping up a division to fight the #1 ranked JMW.
Its a nice fight, although I struggle to look forward to it knowing Cotto is going to get outclassed, as someone else said it'll be a big event. Will Floyd pay sanctioning fees you think?

I wanted to see this fight yrs ago .2 of my favourite fighters but still one I want to see defintley especially at 154 .
come on flea, apart from martinez its the best fight out there for mayweather to be made, not many others that would be more competitive than cotto, plus cotto is a good **** he deserves his time in the limelight even if he does get schooled
