Nah man. Cotto had problems with his camp, had a novice trainer and has since improved his right hand after surgery on his shoulder. And it was a catchweight fght(which I hope to god this one is not.) Those are not excuses. Pacquiao beat his ass fair and square, but it certainly was not under optimum conditions for Cotto. With his new, seemingly capable trainer to guide him, I think he stands a better chance against Pacquiao now than he did then. I don't see him winning a fight against either guy tbh, but I think he acquits himself well in both.

Floyd never beat those guys impressively, the way Manny did. - Floyd needed help from Joe Cortez to beat Ricky, Pacquiao KOed him early - Floyd was lucky to get a close decision over Oscar, while Pacquiao dominated and destroyed him - Mosley rocked Floyd in round 2 but Ellerbe's boyfriend managed to pitty-pat his way to a dull decision win. Cotto's past his physical prime and probably doesn't have the same level of confidence that he used to, but he's technically better than he used to be as a boxer. Probably regressed as an infighter/body puncher though. Still a very solid fighter.
