Cotto does better: Its not exactly always what another fighter does better that gets him the win. There are those x-factors to consider as well. Heart strength determination cuts injuries etc... Cotto has lots of experience in all of these, plus i would say he is arguably a better body puncher than Floyd. Thats really the only thing better that Cotto does IMO. The jab could be very equal too, hopefully we shall see?
I dont see where he's more destructive, he's slower and I think his ability to cut a ring off at 154 lbs is going to be detrimental to his chances against Mayweather. Cotto is not going to outjab Mayweather, thats guaranteed. He uses more lateral movement than Mayweather, but what good will it do him if he's not quicker and faster to get off? Leg wise, Mayweather is quicker on his feet to gain leverage and position than is Cotto. I ask you Tazo, what does Cotto do better than Mayweather that could give him a bonafide chance to even trouble him?
Exactly. Its easly to show good boxing and lateral movement when your foe is stationary and slow as mollases.

You honestly think Cotto can jab with Mayweather? The reach advantage is significant. You think Cotto is fast enough to get off combinations on a slippery fighter like Mayweather? Cotto is a good body puncher, and he's going to have to go to Mayweather' body if he has even a little chance. However, to go to Mayweathers body you have to be durable and have the stamina to carry out a gameplan to wear down Mayweather over the long haul. That is not going to happen my friend. Mayweather's physical durability and stamina is by far superiour than Cotto's.
