Now there's talk of Canelo/Mosley at the Staples on the same night as part of a split-site PPV (like last time).
I think Cotto's got a decent chance to upset him here (probably only 1:yep) The second Margarito fight was the best, IMO, that we'd seen him since the first fight, albeit against a man with 1 eye, he's got enough ring savvy to not play straight into Floyds hands and looked great with his new trainer, the Cuban. at 154 as well, going to be interesting. Going to put it on the line and say Cotto nicks it.
Step up Punk Well know we all know that Mayweather never ever had any intention of ever getting in the ring with Pacquiao on any date:deal. Just the usual drama posturing for the lame brained deaf, dumb & gullible, Mayweather plays his fans like a violin, do you seriously think this Cotto fight was made in 24 hours? 1 week? 1 month? & it's all signed & sealed?? The only funny thing about this is when Cotto told Arum in the ring after the Margo II fight at MSG & put his hands on his shoulders & looked him dead in the eye like Son to Father & said.................. "BOB YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY PROMOTER"
From the sounds of it both Pacquiao AND Floyd were negotiating a Cotto fight. Cotto admitted to speaking to both camps, and said his final decision would be based on money. BUT he also said that Pacquiao (read: Arum) was offering the fight at 147 and he didn't want to sacrifice his body anymore. Now he signs to fight Floyd at 154. To me it's obvious what's going on here. Both fighters were desperate for the Cotto fight. He's the third biggest PPV star in America, and not fighting him will drastically affect the sales and therefore income of the other fighters next fight. Floyd offered the best deal to Cotto, now he gets to fight against a PPV star in his own right. Manny is most likely going to have to fight Bradley, who no one has ever heard of.
i can't believe that Guerrero actually believed he would could get this fight over cotto, pac and canelo.
