    Anyone played the demo yet?

Pride mode looks like a real standout addition for the game. Been playing Wanderlei vs. Rampage more than Jones vs. Evans. So much fun - particularly when you knockout somebody with knees to the head or soccer kicks. They do a really good job of capturing the feel of a Pride event and differentating it from the UFC mode.

The new submission mechanism is great as well. Much more accessible than the shine and closer to EA Sports superior mechanic.

The game looks really good, unfrotunatly I havn't tried it yet.

The transition seems to be alot better, the ground game look improved too, submission system is alot better and a least this time I'm pretty sure it willl work.

The career mode look really promising. The training too, it's about time they build training system that include the command you will use in the game instead of just making some kind of minigame.

TBH can't w8 for it...I'm gonna finally buy a new TV soon so I will finally enjoy those game. Still playing FNC with an old 28" CRT TV...:'(

Oh I forgot to say one of the most awesome things I've heard. Apparently all fighters can be accessed in Pride Mode which means they have to group the weight classes together. So Pride 160Ibs includes not just Pride fighters but all UFC lightweights, featherweights and bantamweights while Pride 205Ibs includes both UFC light heavyweights and middleweights.

Its fantastic, while it still has flaws its leaps and bounds better than previous games.

and Pride mode is great too, really feels like you are there unlike that **** EA MMA had.

EA MMA wasn't that bad...but I have to admit the "animation" of the character looked weird !

No I just mean the japanese rules in EA MMA was a load of bull****. you could only stomp and headkick etc. to finish the fight.

The game was decent overall, especially on the ground game. The striking was **** apart from the controls though.

The game controls were 10 times better than the UFC game. That sold it for me. Hopefully the New UFC game enhances the controls so the game is more enjoyable.

It's fun. Wanderlei vs. Wanderlei is pure violence.

I'm skeptical, mostly because THQ/Yukes don't know a good game from a hole in the floor. They're all about rehashes and whilst I liked UFC Undisputed 1&2, I felt the engine and graphics were far dated compared to EA MMA, which I thought was brilliant. The only problem I had with EA MMA was whilst the striking worked wonderfully, it didn't look too great and needed to be tightened up and it was a little too tough and annoying to get up sometimes, not to mention pull off subs (especially on the computer) or get out of them. The main issue was when you were taken down and some **** had you in mount or had you back and you just couldn't get up no matter how hard you tried, it was pointless.

UFC 3 just looks like a shoddy pride mode attachment and a few upgrades after taking some notes from EA MMA. I still expect the gameplay to be rockem sockem robots and the ground game just spamming transitions.

But I love the production values of the game.

This is the best news so far, and opponents collapsing from leg kicks is awesome too.

Never played EA MMA, but enjoyed the UFC games.. Still on ethernet, but I may have to get wireless so us members can throw down.. I'll let you all know when I get wireless internet.

I like it though the submission system I still don't love - At least they're listening so you can chance it up a bit.

Pride is defo where its at.
