So, generally means the number is negotiable and not set so we can only guess at the number. There is a reason Floyd offered what he did. It wasn't to make the fight happen. It was to make a deal in HIS best interest. The fact he wouldn't even negotiate the point is all you need to know.

 

so if floyd doesn't want 50/50 and if he thinks his offer of$40M is enough, then why didn't he accepted arum's $45M counter-offer?

those are future numbers. as it is, pac-jmm got 1.41M PPV while floyd-ortiz got 1.25M buys. still floyd ducked pacquiao when he was offered a very far 50/50 split. no matter what happens in their next fight, it should be 50/50 split unless floyd really doesn't want pacquiao.

 

If Floyd ever believed this fight wouldn't be a co-promotion and he would be the sole promoter he was an idiot. It is pretty obvious to the objective that he only wanted this fight if he could get the upper hand by dictating the terms. A ducker is a guy who demands a SMW to fight at 147 and gets flat out rejected! And a guy who many if most not believe lost a 3rd fight (Marquez), if not the first and second, and won't make a fourth without a safer interim fight. Get it together.
