Looks like he never got a serious offer. Floyd was ****ing around and negotiating with Cotto the whole time.

Honestly, what bollocks: "call my promoter!"

Even though it might be a few years past when it would've been best for Cotto to fight him, Mayweather will be 35 on fight night to Cotto's 31 which could theoretically be a leveller, added to the bout taking place at 154.

Remember Fat Dan saying after the Cotto Margarito II weigh that Coot and Floyd were already in talks, as someone else pointed out these fights ain't made over night.

Mayweather never intended to fight Pacquiao, his team should of called Floyds bluff

Spoke to Richard Schaefer about Floyd-Cotto. Weight is 154. PPV network deal not done yet. Wouldn't comment on if there's a rematch clause.

Honestly, apart from Pac Floyd's options are extremely limited. The only fights he could have took without getting much **** was this, Alvarez or Martinez.

Under the circumstances I'm not complaining. Especially if we get Pac/Bradley as well cos that's another really intriguing fight.

A Martinez fight would have been better. Martinez would've been happy to come down to 154 I think, but still, Cotto is not a bad fight.

The good thing is that now at least we won't get Pac vs Cotto 2, which would've been awful. As you say Ishy, at least now there's a chance of Pac facing Bradley.

    Floyd/Cotto
    Pac/Bradley
    JMM/Peterson
    Khan/Ortiz

Not bad, really, if that's what we end up with.

I'm happy for Miguel, 4 years to late as mentioned my boy back then had a aura about him that he sadly doesn't have anymore but no doubt in my mind he will perform to best of his ability and give Floyd problems.

Regardless of the way the Pac/Floyd fans are trying to spin this to suit their agenda's.... I'm genuinely looking forward to this fight.

Fingers crossed Pac vs Bradley get made now.

    Ric Flair, wooh.

Good fight this, Pac v Bradley is a brilliant fight too. Next best solution all round for everyone. Think Arum will try to scupper PBF v Cotto fight so not excited just yet.

Bollocks. Wish Floyd would just retire.
