JMM is older, and Pac was supposed to have the weight advantage.

Logically does this mean Pac is slipping at a fast pace?

JMM did great in ALL 3 fights.

As I said to you personally before PH|LLA JMM is the superior boxer so even though Pac had the weight advantage, age advantage, speed advantage and power advantage he can not exploit ANY of these because he is the inferior boxer!

Pac hasn't slipped in my opinion he just hasn't learned anything new (cutting off the ring?) therefore it may appear that he is slipping.

Put him back in with Margo/Hatton type fighter and he looks great again.

but most people think JMM did better in the 3rd fight compared to the second one, so what you're saying doesn't tell the whole story.

Because Pacquiao tried boxing with him, rather than being his usual, aggressive self.

This is how I have the JMM-Pac fights:

    1st: 9-3 JMM
    2nd: 8-4 JMM
    3rd 9-3 JMM

The only thing that JMM did better was use more caution.
    Pac didn't do anything different.

upon further review, it was pretty much the same script but with a few new lines. pac was not as wreckless and agressive and juan did not hit the canvas.

He had a better tactical gameplan and took away any chance Pac had by only engaging on his own terms.

He got wild at points in the other 2 fights, and it cost him.

It was the same Pac as always, but JMM fought better because he had more experience.

I had the 2nd bout a draw. I had Marquez winning the third.
The difference between the first two and the third. Marquez got the gameplan spot on from the get go, he didn't allow himself to be drawn in to a war.

Bc Pac was a lot faster and probably more aggressive in the second fight. And the fights were close either way. JMM just has his number.

What I think actually happened is people thought JMM won more clearly in the 3rd than the other two. Was his performance any better in the 3rd than the other two, I'm not so sure. But he did follow his set out game plan to perfection in the 3rd.

What I said is only an opinion so I could be wrong maybe Pac has slipped, but to me it looks more like he hasn't learned enough (especially if he is going to continue to fight a familiar foe in JMM)....as Freddy said they worked for 6 weeks to combat Marquez yet come fight night he forgot it all.

Also once he knocked Mosely down he couldn't trap him if his life depended on it.....so to me its not a matter of slipping its a matter of lacking certain fundamentals that are only requried with specific opponents.

IMO put him in with an aggressive come forward fighter and he becomes what everybody loves about Manny; blazing fast, awkard angles, brutal power kinda fighter!

But you obviously have a theory or idea you want to tell so lets hear it......

Marquez had an excellent gameplan while pacquiao took the fight lightly.

Pac has not faded. He went through his best training camp. He looked every bit as strong and fast as he did in any of his best fights. Emmanuel Steward couldn't stop talking about how good he looked during the early stages of the fight. Part of Pac's problem is he underestimated JMM. Pac's camp was predicting an early KO and that was a mistake because JMM has never been stopped. You add in JMM's determination, his best training camp he's had, experience, and you have yourself a machine that outboxed Pac.

Pac only threw an avg. of three more punches per round in the 2nd fight...

On that same note, JMM threw an avg. of six more punches per round in the 2nd fight.

    So your theory doesn't work.
