Obviously a big night of boxing and worth watching but Mayweather just cherry picks everyone, constantly plays the innocent and I cant wait for him to retire.

Disapointing, not in the slightest enthused by this. I'd honestly rather have seen him face Alvarez if not Pacquiao. Least the guy is fresh.

Mayweather's just going to break him down, Cotto gasses, Floyd wins a UD. Zzzz.

I think Cotto will come into this fight more prepared than he did for the Pacquiao fight now he's got Pedro Díaz in his corner. Obviously it's early days but Díaz seemed to know what he was doing on 24/7, whereas Cotto previously had his friend training him or was one of Manny Steward's multiple clients. I think Díaz will be good for him.

I still pick Floyd to win though. He's fresher than Cotto, and I think he'll be able to avoid getting hit too often through the course of the fight.

I like the fact it's at 154lbs too. I expect Floyd to vacate the title and move back down again after this fight like he has done in the past, but would love it if he agreed to fight Sergio Martinez at 150lbs or even Canelo in a WBA/WBC unification bout later this year. (Not that I'm counting on either happening but a man can but dream.)

Problem is Cotto is the 3rd biggest PPV seller in the US. No casual boxing fans know too much about Martinez and its a case of Big Risk/Little Reward vs Small Risk/Big Reward. Smart by Mayweather.

Plus Floyd knows Pac will only be left with either Peterson or Bradley now. And Peterson may have to rematch Khan, and no one has heard of Bradley. Personally I hope Bradley and Pac get it on, shud be a great fight. But to the casual fan no one in interested in a Bradley Pac fight.

Its a win win situation for Floyd as he will outsell Pac on PPV's knowing very well Pac can't ask for near 50/50 next time round

Pac should have taken Floyds 40m offer and called his bluff (especially after he lost the last JMM fight, and yes he did lose regardless of the official result)

Let's just be grateful Cotto's a proven commodity - Ortiz was a woeful opponent.

I would'nt dream of demeaning ye or our noble forum with general-esque abuse such as i heap upon the yank philistines in the general:hey

I'd better get over there now as most of the yank wanks should have finished their Bin-rounds/KFC/Burger flipping shifts:D

You've more chance of winning the lotto than Mayweather not gobbing off & i guarantee he'll call Cotto a dog for taking the knee against Margo when he's on kellermans FACE 2 FACE:smoke

As long as Floyd avoids the subject of Cotto's father I'll be content.
