yeah i think a pummelling against the ropes stoppage might be coming :thumbsup

a win is decent for floyd but if he puts a beating on cotto it is very impressive :good

I think as the knee jerk reactions wear off, more people will begin drifting back toward center. Floyd UD. Lots of knees and lots of jerks around here though, so, you never know.

I can see Mayweather actually pushing for a stoppage in this fight, not sure he will get it though

I'm not sure. He visited Miguel in PR so they could talk some co-promotional type stuff. He may have enough personal like for Cotto to be satisfied with a points win.

I love Cotto and will be cheering for him, but Mayweather should pull out a decision.

Cotto isn't going to get sucker punched, so I don't see Mayweather getting the KO.

I might say TKO, but with Cotto's heart and willingness to Box lately I see a UD.

I remember when I used to think "this is the fight Mayweather steps up the offense" a few years ago.

Hell, I remember last summer people said Wlad would actually engage against Haye.

Neither guy will change at this point in their careers.

Mayweather by decision. 10-2 or something similar.

Bot good points, especially yours jeff. To me Floyd looked like he was pushing it against Ortiz, he was moving forward to back Ortiz up with right hands. I see him coming in with a similar gameplan (previously seen Cotto backed up effectively). I feel Floyd will also be frustrated with recent events and looking to out with a bang before his jail time begins.

    DLH, Hatton, Marquez and Mosley.

Care to explain what those were before Pacquiao fought them?

:yep But even though lopsided, that's not so much any knock on Cotto, it's just at a reasonable weight Mayweather is unbeatable.
