If they are both telling the truth, whose offer was fairer/better?

Floyd's offer of $40 mil and PPV (the ppv part we don't know what percentage)?

or

Konz offer of $50 mil each plus 55-45% to the winner?

pacman should of taken the 40 million and whatever % of the PPVs , signed the fight. retired after and live happly in his home country and become president one day.

I like koncz offer simply because the better fighter gets the reward... Gives more incentive to win

 

How can we assume this? Arum openly said he didn't know who to talk to and therefore we much conclude that no offer was presented.

Koncz offer sounds cool, but nothing like that had any chance of happening.

 

Floyds offer is better, because its real. This **** coming out of pac's camp only happened after cotto was signed

 

Arguing a hypothetical with "that would never happen" has got to be one of the most pointless things you can do.

To answer the topic, the 55-45 deal sounds fairest since the better fighter proves they're worth more the old-fashioned way, there's a higher guarantee, and the other deal doesn't even detail the split. Objectively I don't see how you can pick the other one.

 

Why is Floyd's offer real and not Konz? And it only came out cause Floyd was bashing Pac for not accepting his $40mil offer so Konz had to reply.

So if Floyd offered $10 mil, it's still better cause it real? C'mon man!

No matter how you spin it, Floyd's offer was going to be where Floyd is guaranteeing himself a lot more money than what he's offering.

The only way to make this deal fair is to negotiate in %, not $.

The saying: "There's too much money in it for it not to be made" is void.

There is too much money for these guys fighting ANYONE in their division, low risk/medium-high reward for almost all their fights at this point on. On one hand I'm happy they're getting paid for their blood and sweat, on the other hand.. I'm sad, sad because these fighers will never represent the sport of boxing like the old school fighters did.

The golden age of boxing, just imagine the Carmen Basilios, Gene Fullmers, Ray Robinson's at the peak of their powers fighting today.

 

Konz offer sounds great....I just wished I heard about before FMJ announced his opponent for May 5th. Saying it now....sounds a bit shady.
