Most "experts" picked Foreman over Cotto, lol Bert Sugar felt very confident on Yuri outboxing Miguel.

Betting odds had Cotto as the favorite.

Bert's a brilliant Boxing Historian, but modern day I find him lacking.

coming off a loss where Pacquiao brutalized Cotto in the late rounds and won by stoppage

and Top Rank chooses light punching Yuri Foreman as Cotto's comeback fight.

good win by Cotto beating an undefeated champ but don't you think it was smart match making by Arum to put Cotto in with a light hitter?

^ that shouldn't give Cotto zero credit, but come on we all know besides being Jewish foreman being a light hitter was another factor that helped get him the Cotto fight.

If there's a reason to give him less credit, it's the knee injury. Yuri was going to lose anyway, but I seriously doubt Cotto would have gotten the KO if that leg was 100%.

"However, this is was easier said than done. In fact, it seems like Foreman is the favorite in this match even if Cotto is the more experienced fighter. Cotto and Foreman were on the same card in their last fights. Foreman had the biggest win of his career with a dominant unanimous division win over Daniel Santos while we all know that Cotto lost to Manny Pacquiao by TKO.

A lot of people around the boxing business think that Cotto is, as Mikey Rourke said in The Wrestler, a broken down piece of meat. Cotto was beat up badly by Antonio Margarito. After he won a couple of feel good fights, he lost badly again, this time to Pacquiao"

Bitterness from Floyd fanboys. It was a good win, but his leg injury gave these trolls the ammo they needed to discredit the win.

You do realize this was his first fight at 154. No one could be sure how he would handle the weight,ie carry power/speed, Foreman is about the same size as margarito. The fact this guy was bigger but could actually box too meant trouble.
