My guess is that it will be Mosley.
This is the classic old once great who is trying to prove he can still win at the top level, against a young future great who is looking to recive the passed torch.

I think Golden Boy is seting up a Mayweather/Alvarez match up.
I have the felling that they don't think they are going to ever get a deal with Pacquiao. In November he will find some new reason not to fight Mayweather. There is also the posibility that Pacquiao gets beat by Bradley in June. More likely is that Bradley gives Pacquiao problems in a very close fight. I'm not 100% sold on Bradley, but he wins. He's beaten the two best guys at 140 Alexander and Petterson. If Pacquiao strugles against Bradley who lacks stopping power at 140 in a 147 bout. He has good skills but with out the stopping power he's not going to be as effective as he could be. After stuugling with Marquez in his previous fight than intrest in Mayweather/Pacquiao will fade. Alvarez will be there to fill the void left by Pacquiao.

Mosley seems like the likely choice. PTP would be my preference.

People suggesting mosely and mayorga arent really boxing fans or they dont have any faith in canelo. I dont know who he will fight but hopefully it'll be a live body and not some old over the hill has been that doesnt bring anything to the table other than a name.

    :hat

How excited were you when Cotto beat Mayorga less than a year ago?

Lara, Williams, or Kirkland. I would favor him over the latter two due to their ****-poor Chins but Lara would style on him and shatter his own Glass Jaw.

well that settles it then. Plus Canelo is the type of fighter that looks like he'll spend most fo his career at one weight. He might as well unify and do as much as he can at 154

Don King can't make fights. If there is one boxer that should defect post haste it's K9

They don't read the contract properly.

    Sample Language:

I will pay you $5,000,000 per fight.
You will pay me $6,000,000 per fight.

Note, fine print not nearly to scale.

Weight should not make a difference in Ortiz Conelo fight Ortiz came in over 160 in his last fight a think the risk factor on Conelo said would prevent the fight from happening Ortiz would love a fight like this to put him back on top.

Love the selling point! Sugar's got nothing to lose in this fight. If he fights smart and uses his experience he can do well and retire on a good performance. I can't see Canelo getting much credit in taking this. If he dominates Shane is shot and if its competitive Saul isn't ready for the bigger challenges and will be protected a little longer.

    Chuck Kirkland in for fireworks!
