You're right, Foreman was an opponent picked to give Cotto a title belt in a new division. That doesn't excuse the facts that Foreman was undefeated (that makes a big change in the mind set of a fighter, as evidenced by how Yuri's career has gone since) bigger than Cotto, presumed to be faster than Cotto, and had a very awkward style. It's a very good win by Cotto.
Who cares about the betting odds...Miguel has a solid fan base and had way more media exposure...Do you actually think the unknown foreman would be the favorite. The general consensus for that fight still remains that Cotto would loose regardless of the betting odds.

Yep. Had to find hilights on youtube. Sometimes we forget to look at a boxers whole body. I did notice the knee brace till after watching hilights of the Cotto fight.
I agree with you on this point. I don't know if the result Cotto winning would be diffrent. Foreman lacks the firepower to controll the distance from Cotto for 12 rounds. It is a fight Foreman could have won, but without that fire power he's limited. This is a rare statement from me about a boxer over 30, but it Yuri Foreman is going to contune his boxing career he should drop down to a weight class or two if he can.
