MAYWEATHER should get more Credit than PAQUIAO If He DEAFEATS this version of COTTO?

If Floyd beats Cotto the way Pacquiao manhandled Cotto, he'll get equal if not more credit from me.

 

I guess it all depends on how the fight goes. If there is a seriously close or controversial outcome, I'd say no. If he beats him convincingly, by ko/tko or wide decision, I'd give the edge to Mayweather at 154.

 

Mayweather deserves more credit. He's fighter a better, stronger version of Cotto. It's close though, and Pac still deserves credit for his best win above 140 (Cotto).

No. Pac was fighting Cotto when Cotto was more prime at a weight where he [Pacquiao] was still an unknown commodity. People at the time dismissed his win against Oscar, and were saying he was stepping up against a real welterweight that would be in solid condition.

That for me is better than beating a less ferocious version of Cotto that's had to be carefully guided against opponents for the past two years after suffering two brutal, career-damaging beatings.

 

He's not because he can't even honor his catch weight. He didnt even try and paid marquez instead of trying to make weight. Catchweight failure.
