    Excuses, excuses....

Guess what? The Cotto of the Zab and Mosley fight woul'dve still lost to Pac. Pac is simply too good for any version of Miguel.

Pac is in the form of his life and had too much for Cotto to deal with. I think had Cotto stuck to a game plan with body shot he could have mabye taken pac into deep water.

That being said i still think Pac would have found a way to win

This. He was disciplined, focused and was timing his own jab over Manny's. He could have kept it extremely close, bashing up Manny's face in the process. When he had the opportunity, he could have thrown a right hand to keep Pac off his game, then the left hook to the body. Mix it up, vary it - but going in slugging just cause he had the opportunity was stupid.

Basically, his tactics led to his getting sparked. That fourth round knockdown finished him off - he had no snap on his punches after that.

Would he have won without that? Not sure, Manny was on top form, but I think it would have been a very close decision if Miguel had stayed cool.

Cotto's defense was a BIG part of it, conditioning I suppose too since he kept just standing in front of pac and letting him get away

There are a lot of factors contributing here. One that stands out is Cotto's comment that he cannot see Pac's punches and where they are coming from. Hence, one of the reasons why he cannot protect himself.

It's pretty funny how not one person tries to even suggest Cotto was drained. :think

Miguel was drained only when Floyd is forced to fight Pac, together with the other bull**** to discredit Pac. :rofl:rofl

Both mannys skill and speed, he was beating Cotto to the punch all night, and would have done the same at any weight with any corner for Cotto.

Even Team Cotto admitted that Pac's speed frustrated Cotto a lot.
