Carl Frochs UK return fight - Your oponent choice

    As we know it has been proposed for Carl to have a return fight in Nottingham on May 5. I've been thinking of an opponent choice and Karoly Balzsay came to mind. He currently holds the plastic WBA title after defeating an Undefeated Ukrainian in Ukraine, and he is a former WBO champ which could bode well with the promotion.
    He's an opponent whom Carl could look good against and if the WBA strap was on the line it could become a good bargaining tool for Carls future fights.


    So who do you think would be an ideal opponent?
    And what do you think of a fight with Balzsay?

    Assuming hes not going to fight Bute / Kessler then I would like him to go in with Pavlik

    ward as the wba strap does,nt he ?
    froch would not look right with any other belt than the wbc i tink he should go for bute looking at a rematch with ward in the not to distant future

    This is a good shout, one that Froch should win but it can't not be a good fight.

    Yep, Andrade for me.

    Good for Froch as he'll probably stop him and look good doing so, good for the fans as it'd be an exciting fight for as long as it lasts.

    it won't be Stevenson he has a IBF #2 spot eliminator coming up very soon.

    An Andrade fight would've been great a few years ago. Losing to Arron Pryor Jr kind of takes away a lot of the appeal though.

    Yeah Andrade is done. Pascal's a good shout. Ooohustien? Actually, nah. Maybe Anthony Dirrell? Pavlik would be good though.
