Many said he was a cherry pick for Pacquiao because he was damaged by Margarito and Clottey gave him a beating. Now fighting Floyd automatically makes him a formidable foe. Not saying he isn't because I think Cotto has a lot left but why the double standard?

A lot of people still believe that, one positive is Floyd isn't making him come down to 135 like Manny, which helps.

154 cotto with 3 wins and fighting at a better weight and determined is go for me. No catch weights. straight up 154 title fight.

best fight could be made outside pacman.

Cotto is a good boxer, I was suprized in the margo fight. looked good. revenged his loss.

bottom line cotto is still P4P fighter in the world.

pacman wouldnt dare fight him at 154

He was 145 against Pacquiao - which wasn't at all outrageous at the time.

The point of 145lb catchweight wasn't to drain Cotto, it was to make him focus his training on making weight rather than training for how to deal with Pacquaio.

Cotto wasn't drained, but he was unprepared.

Floyd fan here - Not once have I said Cotto is damaged goods. People generalize far too much on this forum.

People don't want to see Cotto-Pac rematch, well because Pac stopped Cotto, and Cotto will always have trouble with him. Whereas Cotto-May is something new. :deal
