"I'm going to meet with Bob to discuss not only Bradley but also Marquez and Peterson because now I have to determine what is the best for Manny style-wise and also in terms of economics now that there isn't a fight with Mayweather or Cotto," Koncz said. "The majority of our discussions have been about Bradley. We have not committed to Bradley from our side, but now I need to explore the other options because of what happened (Wednesday) with Mayweather announcing that he's fighting Cotto."

    marquez is a high-risk high-reward fight.
    bradley is a high-risk low-reward fight.
    peterson is a medium-risk low-reward fight.

    i'll go with marquez anyday.

It's been awhile since Pacquiao took an 0 from someone. And it will address the criticism that he only fights Floyd leftovers and people seen as past-prime. It's basically one-upping Floyd on Ortiz, since Bradley is more highly thought of.

Meanwhile, Floyd's is going to be fighting his first certified Pacquiao leftover (Marquez doesn't count).

Frankly, the only things available in the 140 - 154 range are either old veterans or young, unproven talents. There aren't a lot of prime, dominant fighters, but Bradley is the closest one fit that description. Nobody deserves to criticize Pacquiao for taking this fight if it happens. IMO it would be his best win since becoming PPV attraction.

look at these keyboard warriors.

every fight is a risk. bradley being undefeated is a high-risk but low-reward fight both monetarily and legacy. people just go with names more.

Bradley's a good fight. I guarantee that he'll do better than most expect him to.

I agree with this. I used to dislike thoughts of a Bradley fight, but all things considered, it would be a pretty good win. And while Bradley isn't as defensively skilled as Mayweather, he's probably going to try to box Manny with his well-rounded skillset, and he'll have to find his way around that, which isn't bad preparation for a potential November fight with Floyd, while at the same time, he's not likely to look bad doing it.
