I don't have time to research Wilder's background, so I'll ask the ESB geniuses: did Wilder show evidence of a weak chin as an amateur? If the answer is yes, please let me know exactly what fights you're talking about. Tell me what happened.

Is this guy an obvious glass chin? Is that why Eric Gomez & Co. have been so incredibly careful in matching him? Wilder's been pro for 4 years. That's a long time to go without fighting a single credible "B" fighter, let alone a legitimate top-15 contender. Something's fishy here.

Thanks geniuses...this forum is without doubt the Ivy League of boxing posters.

Yes, he was flattened in the amateurs and at least one of these Alabama flea market fighters he's been fighting since Beijing has hurt him, as well. He has no Chin. None.

It proves something. It shows why he has been fighting bums. No chin. A fraud.

Excuses, excuses. Chins do not improve. If you get flattened while wearing headgear in the amateurs you are not going to have much of a Chin in the pros. If that isn't enough proof for you then go watch his Alabama bum fights, one of those jokes had him on ***** street, as well. Glass Jaws Exist in Boxing. Your heroes probably have them.:deal:hi:

Maybe we are being too harsh on him? If we look at the big prospects out there, also Price, Helenius and Fury have all been knocked down in the amateurs. It happens. Not sure about Fury tho, but he was knocked down by Pajkic, which is embarrassing.

Wilders' record is quite impressive. Won every fight by KO inside 3 rounds. WOW.
