Shane simply doesn't let his hands go anymore. And if you've seen him at 154, he is even LESS effective vs. bigger guys. And Canelo is going to be much bigger, and a much heavier hitter then Shane. Againt canelo, shane would need to win by KO, but he hasn't shown that he brought his power up to 154 ever. I don't know if Shane is compltely shot, but he's nothing more then a gatekeeper at best.

Can you not read? That is exactly what I am saying and it is common sense among anyone who has a realistic grasp of punch resistance in Boxing. If you are seriously hurt by someone who cannot punch then you do not have a Chin. That is not rocket science and it should not be up for debate because it is self-explanatory. Jose Cotto cannot punch. He put your hero on ***** street. It is readily apparent that this guy cannot take a punch to save his life and he will fold like a lawn chair when a good puncher cracks him.

I'm aware of all of this, and like I've said; it's a gut feeling. I'm prepared to be proven wrong, and half expecting to be. It'd be a boring world without upsets though.

What do you think about PBF's chin? Better or worse than Canelo?

Mosley is definitely a live opponent. Ive also said he could very well knock canelo out. Although Mosley wont be as dangerous at 154 and 10 oz gloves. Plus i believe Canelo is a tough mofo. I think he will box very patient and smart and win a decision. Canelo can def take him out but he still has a lot to learn so boxing smart and securing the win is probably best

  9. no it wont. mosley is a known cheat. he shouldnt be boxing. i hope alvarez retires that bowl of diarrhea.

the fight shouldnt happen anyway....its not fair for active fighters wanting a title shot and shanes name gets mentioned when he hasnt had a win in 3 years

Shanes last win - 3 YEARS AGO
    Shanes last fight at 154 - 2008
    Shanes age - 40
Shanes ranking to fight for the WBC 154 title - UNRANKED

IT'S HAPPENING, soon you will all see me as a prediction god.

    Here is my reasoning.

Watch Alvarez vs Gomez. Alfonso frequently stepped to the side which Alvarez had little answer too, little Alfonso landed right hands, but due to have Paulie-esque punching power couldn't do much damage.

Watch Mosley vs Pacquaio. Mosley steps to the side, but doesn't pull the trigger. Shane won't be nearly as intimidated by Alvarez as he was Pacquaio, unless Canelo knocks him down early.

I expect Shane to turn Alvarez and crack him with a hard right hand, over and over and there is still some power there, I'm certain. There's also rumours of Shane having had damage to the ligiments in his heel/ankle/foot for the Pacquaio fight, which may or may not be true.

Kermit Cintron was gun shy and he stunned Alvarez with a right hand, if Shane turns up with a killer instinct, he'll end the Alvarez hype train.

Book it (I have Winky to beat Quillin too) :smoke

Shane is only fighting for one of two reasons, he's either broke or he needs the money.

Without that expensive divorce he wouldve retired a while ago, Mosely is in for a long & painful night & I hope its the last time we see him in the ring.

I'm surprised how many people are picking Mosely, he is completely shot & I doubt he'll hear the final bell

Alvarez will win a UD imo, but no way he deserves to be a 9-1 fav. Wouldn't be surprised if Shane Koed him.

I am pretty certain that if Gomez punched harder, Alvarez would have taken him more seriously.
