The mind of a ***** is similar to the mind of a woman - this thread is a perfect example.

Reality: Pacquiao fights Cotto @ 145 (Welterweight) for a Welterweight (147) belt.
***** interpretation: Pacquiao fights Cotto @ 135 (Lightweight) for a Jr. Middleweight (154) belt.

When I said Cotto was shot I was referring to the opinion of Cotto being shot not that it was my opinion. I even clarified that I didn't personally feel that Cotto was ever shot just always overrated. I think having no trainer and cutting down to 145 hurt him for the Pac fight, but I also don't think he would have beat Pac reguardless as he isn't a good match up for him. What I was saying was even if public opinion or "*****s"felt that Cotto was shot he was still rated the #1 JMW and best option available.

And again like I stated before. None of the WWs other then Pac measure up and are considered to green. None of the JMW have clearly shown that they deserve a shot at Mayweather over Cotto other then arguably Paul Williams.

All this talk about Mayweathers choice of Cotto is only a pissing contest of trying to stick it to "*****s" for calling him shot and nothing to do with if Cotto actually deserves a shot at Mayweather or is the best option available because he clearly is when you put everything from money, ranking, skills, accomplishments, and style together.

But yet Ricky Hatton was a better win for Pac right because he fought at his natural weight.

    :****: contest

:huh making posts based on the opinions of others is a little pointless, no? Posting ***** this, ******* that means nothing to be honest.

Cotto's accomplishments at 154 aren't any greater then anyone else fighting there. Has he done more then K9? Has Cotto even defeated a ranked JrMW? :huh

So as you said, Cotto is overrated, but more deserving then anyoner else at 154?

You seem a little all over the place with your defense/criticism of Floyd vs. Cotto.

If you think it's just an easy money fight for Mayweather, which is sounds like, just say it. But don't justify it as the best available option based on Cotto being overrated and not that accomplished at 154.

:patsch How you get this from what you quoted is beyond comprehension. It's almost as if you had no reason to quote ANYONE to make this post.

You can call it whatever you want, but you'd have a much tougher time arguing that Pac fought Cotto @ 135 for a Jr MW title than you would arguing that Hatton was better at 140 than 147. One of the two is a complete distortion of facts while the other is an opinion. There is a very distinct difference between the two.

Everyone is always taking things to extremes. Fact of the matter is Cotto looks impressive at 154 lately. That margarito revenge must have put him in good spirits as well.

Floyd fan here and Cotto is and has always been a "B" level fighter. This fight may be the most financially rewarding for both parties, but it is not the best fight to be made. If not Pac/Floyd, which would also be the richest prizefight ever, Floyd/Sergio is the more compelling fight.

That said. I will still watch Floyd give Cotto a boxing lesson.

He is overrated as people believed he was a A level fighter and believed he could beat Mayweather at one point in his career. But he still has more on his resume then all the fighters at 154 why am I limiting him to only 154?.

So tell me after Pac who else should he have fought?

It could have been a typo as well since the number 3 is right next to the number 4. Maybe he did it intentionally who knows. And the 2nd dude butted in probably talking about the 2nd negotiation which Cotto was a 154 fighter

You are picking on silly mistakes.

I wasn't focusing on the mistakes but focusing on the point that the same people that will say Cotto at 145 was a better fighter vs Pac then Mayweather at 154 will say Hatton at 140 was a better fight vs Pac then Mayweather at 147. But its not about the weight its about there mental makeup going into the fight.

You worry TOO much on what others believe or think, and you allow it go work it's way into YOUR reasoning.

But we're talking about them fighting at 154. And you're talking about desering this, deserving that. You also said Canelo was an option, yet he hasn't done squat at either 147 or 154 to be deserving.

Martinez for one. And as I said in other posts, I have no problems with this fight. I'm just questioning the consistency you are using here.

But just for shiots and giggles, Hell, why not Kirkland at 154? Or K9? Are they not beg enough to help sell the PPV's?
