annoying that Floyd Fans are now claiming that Cotto was weight drained vs Pac, using the Pac fights at catchweight excuse.

FFS Floyd couldnt even make weight when he faced MArquez!

I am still looking forward to Floyd vs Cotto as I think Cotto will give Floyd a far Harder time than he gave Pac,

Cotto only struggles against fighters who force him to fight with pressure, both Pac and Marg outfought him.....its not as if FLoyd can do that.

I expect a close SD for Floyd similar to the De La Hoya fight.

Floyd may have come in heavier than planned against JMM but JMM didn't lay a glove on him all night regardless. JMM then went on to school Pacquiao at the same weight, go figure!

Really like Cotto but Floyd isn't ****ing around these days and I say Miguel gets stopped.

Marquez was a blown up LW so the only argument to be made is that Floyd didn't have the discipline to get down to 144 as contracted.

    Cotto wasn't 'drained' but he sure as hell wasn't comfortable with the weight, examples of 'drained fighters' are;

    Morales vs Pacquiao 2
    Morales vs Pacquiao 3
    DLH vs Pacquiao

    Seeing a trend here? :huh

Floyd could cut, he simply doesn't like to do it.

The Marquez fight was signed for 144.

Floyd requested the weight be changed from 144 to 147 but with penalties that if he came in over 144. For every lb he was over, he'd pay Marquez $300,000.

Note he never got penalized by the commission because Marquez agreed to it.

When it was first signed. It was set for 144.

Then the week of, Mayweather requested a change. JMM signed it and they filed in the day of the weigh in.

Ive seen Mayweather cut 8lbs before. And I dont believe he weighed above 150 for the JMM fight. - I think he just doesn't like to cut weight.

I think he could make it if he wanted to, the average person can cut 10lbs or so anyway.

 What a dumb****. That's what his fight vs. JMM was. :patsch
And if you losers count Pac vs. DLH as one, then Hatton (moving up from 140) vs. Floyd (moving DOWN from JrMW) counts as well.

Well technically Mayweather never fought in a catchweight fight...

(Not being a smart ass, just saying)
