When Floyd defeats Cotto, will the ring recognise him as P4P #1?

As of now Pacquiao is on a winning streak, so for floyd to be #1 he should beat Pacquiao or until Pacquiao loses thats when Floyd will be #1

I agree Pacquiao lost to Marquez! But Pacquiao destroyed Cotto already, why would Mayweather beating him say anything? It's a good fight because it's unfinished business, but that's about it.

Depending on how Floyd wins will determine if he over takes Pac in the P4P rankings... If Floyd dominates and Pac doesn't in his fight with Bradley there will be no question Floyd will be #1 P4P. Exciting year for boxing without the "big one" taking place...

they still had Pac after his JMM fight at #1, so why would they drop him.

they will wait to see what Pac does against Bradley before making a move IMO

No. Vsing Cotto is a ******ed move by Floyd (it does nothing for his legacy). I just don't understand why he'd vs him. Just how I'll never understand why he vsed JMM.

Ratings are for insecure people. Real boxing fans know if your P4P or not. I'm happy for Floyd.. he is giving his fans the next best fight after Martinez (he has a upcoming fight) and Manny (he's playing hide and seek with Bob and Michael). If he fights Timid Timmy then we all know what's up. The 24/7 for Mayweather-Cotto is gonna be epic. Even if they did a 24/7 for Pac-Bradley we pretty much know the story Manny and his team by now and Timid Timmy... he's not one of the best speakers out there... he calls people out and never faces them... he hides underneath his big pillow for months in turn preganating his wife, picking up 2 court cases and getting stripped of his titles.

I don't think gay tweetyweather would even stop cotto.

It would be a boring fight with lots of running from the number 1 runner in boxing today.

That would not elevate him to number 1.

When the rumor of Pac vs Cotto II first came out, ya'll cry cherrypick.

Now you want Floyd to be P4P # 1 for defeating Cotto, who happens to be Pac's left over?

You gotta be ****ing kidding me.

I didn't say anything about cherry picking but you got to admit not only was he trying to fight a man he already dominated but he was trying to weight drain him as well(probably make him put his title on the line too).

Let me type that again in case you didn't get the point.

HE WAS NOT ONLY TRYING TO GET A 2ND FIGHT WITH AN OPPONENT HE ALREADY DOMINATED BUT HE WANTED TO WEIGHT DRAIN HIM. WEIGHT DRAIN? AN OPPONENT HE ALREADY DOMINATED? HE WOULDN'T EVEN MEET IN THE MIDDLE AT 150.

That is where the criticism is coming from.
