Floyd is fighting Pacquiao's leftover obviously, but it's still a good fight.

What's the point in saying he's a "leftover of Pacquiao" just to discredit Mayweather? When everyone fights everyone of course there's going to be L's. In that case Hatton(still a good win), DLH, and Mosley were leftovers and Floyd beat better versions of them anyways. As was JMM since Floyd did what Manny couldn't, beat him decisively. In the Pacq/Cotto fight Cotto had no gameplan and got crushed, last good win for Manny imo but still you have to question how the weight affected Cotto. He just avenged his loss to Margo albeit a one-eyed one but a good confidence booster for Cotto. I respect Floyd for fighting Cotto @ 154, something Pacquiao refused to do. Not the best fight but 3rd best since Martinez wouldn't drop his fight.

Actually Floyd isn't fighting a PAC "leftover" he is fighting Cotto where Cotto is best which is 154. He's not fighting him at 145 like PAC and he will make $30 million on a 65/35 split. From what I've read PAC biggest purse is $7.4 mill and Cotto is making $30 mill. Imagine if PAC would have just went with the 60/40 deal like he originally agreed to. He would have gotten far more than $30 mill. He needs to get Arum out of his pocket and take control of his career like Cotto is doing.

And what fighter in their right mind (a top 3 P4P'er at that) would "drop his fight" [for a chance at Maytwitter?] :patsch:rofl

Oh yeah, it's a typo, right?

He said he would and if he really wanted to face Mayweather in May he could've. Not Floyd's fault many people ***** out of the opportunity to fight him. Only exception is probably Margarito.

floyd bloated hatton up to 147.

pac fought hatton at his best weight of 140.

so, going by your logic, hatton was not floyd's "leftover."

I's not a good fight. Never would have been. Cotto was just the "anti-Mayweather" The guy the haters propped up as the guy just becuse he was the top ratted guy at the same weight. It's going to be what it would have been. A one sided beating from the hands of Mayweather on Cotto.
This fight is a farce. Thanks Manny.
