This must be the most ******ed post on the Boxing Discussion forum I have ever seen since joining ESB.
You can only find posts this ******ed in the Lounge section.

He beat an old man that was a replacement.

I'm tring to be respectful, but its getting hard. So what your saying is, bute who has fought no one of note should call the shots and ward who just went though the s6 should fight bute because bute wants the fight. How does that even make sense to you (please don't explain)

And yes ward deserves to fight anyone he wants in his next fight. He has a pass. He earned it in the ring, not because a handful of rabid fans said so.

**** your God right up his ass man. Don't ever bring that word in a boxing discussion and use him to make an argument. Take that **** in the lounge section.

The old man gave a very tough fight to the second best fighter in the tournament, the old men only needed 1 fight to qualify in the semi-finals...lol.
The old man had some power to cause Froch a perforated eardrum.
The old man is the ko'ed "the one that nobody want to face Green". One of Ward big wins as presented by his promoter and shoved at Bute as who he needs to fight. :rofl
It was a cool old man. :yep

The old man that was a replacement actually gave a tough fight to Ward's best win in the Super Six semis. :good

You must also apply your 'undeserving' theory to Bute-Dirrell.

Dirrell does not deserve to fight Bute at this point, because the fight could be so much bigger if Dirrell fought Johnson or Bika first. Dirrell just fought Cunningham, so he needs to crank it up a notch to get a fight with Bute, as much as Bute needs to crank it up to 'A level' to get a fight with Ward.

    :?

After all, Kessler had to beat both Jeff Lacy & Sakio Bika in order to qualify for a shot at Joe Calzaghe. Right?

hows that? Froch was his only decent win in like two years while he already had three easy fights before

Come on dude. Of course Ward would get credit for beating him.

Do I begrudge Ward the right to pick a take a few lesser defenses, makes some bucks and let the Bute fight cook a little bit? No. Not after the tough schedule of the S6.

I have no problem with him making a business decision, and that's what it is.

But for people to call it a duck is equally ridiculous, considering the short amount of time that has elapsed since the end of the tournament. I'm hoping this fight gets made before the end of the year, or early next.

But let's not make it like this fight isn't the best option for Ward right now. Granted the fight will still be there, and viable, unless something unexpected happens. But there is always that chance.
