There are an awful lot of inponderables in this one to be confident, I think at face value Dodson has an excellent chance and would not be at all surprised to win, if you gave me a free £20 bet and insisted I had to use it on that fight I would back Dodson as well, although there is evey possibility of McKenzie hitting too hard too early.

9/4 Dodson now with Ladbrokes and Betfred and Boylesports, best of luck mate

Huge rick from them. Got the KO and PTS completely the wrong way round

Might be a little optimistic with this one but I've had a wager on a accumulator over the next couple of months

    Chavez Jr outright
    Donaire outright
    George Groves TKO/KO
    Kell Brook 8-12 or PTS
    Mayweather 8-12 or PTS

    100 to return 530.

Initially I was going to lump a hundred on Chavez Jr to decision Rubio but I think its to risky. Chavez Jr could get a premature stoppage so that's a no go, plus Rubio possesses KO power to pull the upset. I'm confident Chavez Jr gets the win the weekend though.

Also, Kell Brook is worth looking at vs Matthew Hatton, 6/4 with Paddypower for a points victory. Again, a chance of a premature stoppage though.

Big gamble going on for McKenzie Round 1 - gone from 14/1 down to 9/2 in a place, there are 6/1 and 7/1 available and 10/1 with Boylesports but some have suspended and seems to be a wholesale gamble. Some prices quoted your would think Naz Hamed was back!!

Presumably the people in the know expect McKenzie to come out swinging, no value now I don't think personally but I guess if we knew something......

  9. Yeah, someone is trying to lay 9/2 on round 1 on Betfair.

Can't see a one round blowout, Dodson has been stopped a few times and McKenzie is a four round fighter. Someone is reading too much into this I think.

That was my initial feeling as well, just curious as to how late it all went on as if someone had planned to come at them late and early this morning hoping they might catch them off guard. If McKenzie comes out and blows his load and don't get rid of Dodson, he loses this fight for me, think Dodson could even stop him late if McKenzie goes too early. Intriguing little affair now.

  11. Yeah it is, looking forward to it.

Think I'll leave it alone from a betting point of view though.

Dodson wins on points at 7/2.. Only way he wins is if he blows Tony away early and Ovill is no Froch.

Yeh there's been a big "dodgy" gamble rounds 1-3 across the board. Would leave well alone chaps
